Day 1B of the PS Taiwan Open wraps up after a grueling 16-level session, with 70 players taking their shot at advancing. When the chips are finally bagged, only 11 remain — all guaranteed a share of the prize pool and a seat in Day 2.
Leading the way is Shreyas Suresh Shinde, who closes the day with a commanding 480,000 chips after steadily building momentum throughout the session.
In pursuit is Yang Cheng-Jyun, who bags 271,000. Having only entered the live tournament scene a few years ago, Yang continues to make waves and positions himself as a serious threat heading into Day 2.
Completing the top three is Yi Cheng, who carries 256,000 chips forward, well within striking distance as the battle intensifies in the next stage.
With another flight now complete, the race toward Day 2 continues to heat up at the Players Series tables.
